Masters Competitive Rowing

General Description: 

The Master’s Competitive Program is for experienced athletes, committed to training a minimum of 3 mornings per week, and open to competing in summer and/or fall regattas. The program focuses on technical refinement and fitness benchmarks to further rowing development. 

Is this program right for you?

Athletes aged 30+

Previous rowing experience is required, which includes our  Learn to Row or recreational programs. 

Practice Schedule:

  • Mondays - Fridays, 5:30 AM - 7:30 AM

  • Saturdays, 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM
     

Regatta Schedule:

  • Toni Bernacki Regatta - Welland, June 13, 2026

  • RowOn Masters - Wellend, July 12, 2026

  • Henley Masters - St. Catharines, August 2, 2026

  • Head of the Rideau - Ottawa, September 27, 2026

  • Head of the Trent - Peterborough, October 4, 2026

*Note, the registration fee does not include regatta travel and entry costs. Travel and entry fees are the responsibility of competing athletes.
